Swimming ability. The pool is zero dept entry up to 5ft.

I can play in the water but I do not know how to swim. I am a beginner swimmer. I am a Ok swimmer. I am a GREAT swimmer. I would like to wear a life jacket.

Sunscreen is required. Students may bring their own or will be required to use AYP's. Sunscreen will be reapply throughout the day.

NEW! Summer end Field Trip to Crystal Mountain! AYP students will enjoy a day at the outdoor pool. The pool is lifeguarded and chaperones will be present at all times. The bus will leave AYP at 10:15 AM and return at 4 PM. The day will start at the outdoor pool. A one-piece bathing suit is required. AYP can help provide if needed. Towels are suggested by not required. We will have lunch at the pool with the option of a Hamburger or Hotdog. Sack lunches are optional. After lunch students have the choice to choose from two adventure activities or just stay at the pool. Adventure activities require closed toed shoes like crocs or tennis shoes. Students will be split into groups based on their choice.
Students are encouraged to bring a backpack with sunscreen, a water bottle, a towel, and a change of clothes.
