Wednesdays in October 3:30-4:30pm (10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 and 10/29) | We will be investigating the concept of water conservation and why we should care when we live in Michigan, where we have such an abundance of freshwater. (I promise this topic is NOT boring, and you will actually get your feet wet, quite literally. Okay, not if you don't want to......) We only get one planet with the resources it contains to use and it's pretty important.

Human beings have an inherent duty to conserve water, protect it's quality and use it wisely. Due to drought risk, water treatment energy use, stormwater management/runoff, protecting infrastructure and saving money (all stuff you may not care about YET, but I challenge you to go a day without water. If you can, okay, you're right, you don't need to care.)

Come, get your feet wet, and enjoy some fun activities that will fill your brain with knowledge that wins games like Jeopardy, but also, makes you a WATER WARRIOR! (which is pretty awesome, if you ask me)
